“Salvatori is the undisputed point of reference when it comes to design applied to natural stone”

Interior design trends for 2025 showcase an increasingly sensorial, material design, deeply connected to nature. In a period of great technological innovation, living spaces are evolving towards experiences that engage the senses and re-establish an authentic dialogue with the natural environment.
This is the direction our Forma Design showroom has taken to present Salvatori, an Italian company that has been working with natural stone for over 75 years, following solid and recognizable values: quality, sustainability, Italian craftsmanship, and technological innovation.

Salvatori: An Italian Story Since 1946
The company’s origins date back to 1946, when Guido Salvatori founded the production center in Italy. It was subsequently led by his son Gabriele Salvatori, who continues his legacy, proudly carrying forward the values of the finest Italian craftsmanship applied to the most advanced natural stone processing technologies.
As the Salvatori family tells it:
The origins of the Salvatori company date back to my grandfather. For many years, he and his partner held the rights to clear the San Rossore forest near Pisa, processing the wood in a nearby factory.

This experience has given rise to a profound knowledge of natural materials and a design vision that today translates into refined, timeless, elegant, and iconic spaces.
“We transform natural stone into spaces with an elegant, minimalist and timeless design.”

Tactile and biophilic design: experiencing interiors with the senses
Thanks to its collaboration with internationally renowned designers, Salvatori is at the forefront of innovation in natural stone design. The company interprets the latest trends, such as tactile design and biophilic motifs, which go beyond aesthetics to create a holistic living experience capable of generating profound well-being.
Design is no longer just form, but becomes a relationship with nature, through authentic materials, tactile surfaces, and volumes that interact with the environment. The result is harmonious, welcoming spaces that bridge the gap between humanity and the natural world.

Salvatori natural stones
Following this philosophy, Salvatori creates high-value projects using an exclusive selection of natural stones, including:
Pietra d’Avola, Travertine, Bianco Carrara, Crema d’Orcia, and Crema d’Orcia Select. Grigio Versilia, Gris du Marais®, and Silk Georgette®. Lithoverde®, the world’s first recycled stone, developed by Salvatori in 2010, is made from 99% waste material and is internationally recognized for its contribution to architectural sustainability.
The combination of stone with wood, fabrics, and natural colors creates an emotional bond between space and people, transforming environments into more livable, warm, and sensorial spaces: a true appeal to the senses.

Not just coverings: Salvatori collections
Salvatori is not just stone cladding, but also offers a wide range of designer furnishings and accessories, including: tables and chairs, mirrors, lighting, furnishing accessories and accessories.
Objects that leave a lasting impression, like a perfume, the fruit of an ambitious vision that has transformed even waste stone into a unique design element.
For this reason, together with Forma Design, we have chosen to support and promote Salvatori, an Italian excellence capable of combining aesthetics, ethics, and innovation.
