The wide, smooth-edged vessel perfectly cradles the exquisitely simple pestle, whose shape was achieved through Pawson\u2019s rigorous approach to the simplicity of form, materiality, function, geometry and proportion. The Ellipse collection is a family of vessels and utensils for the home designed by long-time Salvatori collaborator John Pawson.
